Project Overview

A calming space for spiritual intent

39 Toh Tuck Terrace was approached as a study in restraint. The brief called for a home that felt still — a space where the architecture would settle the mind rather than stimulate it. Every material choice, proportion, and detail was made in service of that quality.

L-Pine Design led the project from structural planning through to bespoke furniture and final fit-out. The palette was deliberately limited — concrete, pale timber, and stone — with warmth introduced through texture rather than colour. Spatial flows were redrawn to allow light to move through the house throughout the day.

The result is a home that is never static. The quality of light at 7am is entirely different from 5pm — and that shift was designed, not accidental.
